Winter Solstice Celebration
Sunday, December 18, 2022
4:30pm – 6:00pm

Join us for a free family-friendly, early evening celebration of the winter solstice! We will begin with a lantern-lit 1-mile walk through a forested trail, followed by a guided meditation, the burning of a traditionally decorated oak Yule log in a bonfire, and imbibing in family-friendly warm beverages. We’ll read solstice poems, reflect on the return of the sun, and you will have the chance to toss a note into the fire, representing something you want to improve on during the upcoming year or unburden yourself of from the year gone by. We look forward to celebrating with you!

Please follow signs and you will be assisted in parking.

Please bring a flashlight or headlamp to have on hand.
